How to Learn Basketball Terms

Step 1:
Watch the game in person and on television. Watching is learning.

Step 2:
Play the game. Basketball is a sport where women and men alike play the sport with very little changes. Play the game and learn the terms, not to mention it is a great workout.

Step 3:
Read about them. Basketball terms are like any other terms, they can be found in many different books.

Step 4:
Watch ESPN. They use these terms all the time during Sports Center.

Step 5:
Become a coach. There are thousands of basketball programs looking for coaches. Volunteer to be a coach and that will force you to learn the terms.
